Passage D’Enfer
Since 1920, in a little private passage of the 14th arrondissement of Paris, lived an art academy.
At the number 25 of the Passage D’Enfer.
The head teacher recently retired and sold the house to a family of four. The building being a part of french historical buildings, due to its facade made by the artiste Alexandre Bigot, was a delicate renovation project. With no alterations that could be made to the exterior of the house, the interior needed to be fully renovated, with loft inspired features that were at the heart of the interior design. The family loves to read, and had piles of books everywhere, so I offered to design a custom made bookshelf that would cover the main wall of the living room.
The renovation took place in the spring of 2022. The family now lives happily inside. And the books are sorted in an alphabetical order.
