Hillside house

Located on the greek island of Patmos, on top of a hill facing the sea, a new house is emerging. This four hands project with architect Georges Maurios started in 2021, in his studio rue Saint Jacques in Paris. At the core of the design was the idea to make this house fit in the landscape, as if it always belonged here, with the other neighboring houses, and respect the local traditional architectural style. White façades, sourcing local wood, stone and working with artisans that always have lived there.
